Nottingham Robin Hood Half Marathon 2008

On a bright and breezy Sunday morning in September, Louise ( Aunty Lou Lou ) ran the Nottm half marathon on behalf of the trust.
Months of preparation,A long practice runs and hours in the Gym certainly paid off as she finished in 2 hours and 2 minutes.
Spurred on by hundreds of well wishers, include Steve, Jo and Amber ( who ran the Fun Run ),  Matt,   Jane and Gary, the pictures show that Lou Lou looked liked she could run it again straight after!!
Louise also managed to raise 250 for the trust which is a fabulous effort and we thank her dearly for all the time and effort spent preparing and collecting sponsorship.
The following weekend Lou Lou is walking up Snowdon with us too , im not sure how she has the energy but we are very glad she has !!
The monies raised by Louise and the Snowdon Walk are going to be counted and then distributed to a children’s charity that supports and encourages outdoor activity for kids that otherwise would not get the chance to participate.
