Snowdon Mountain Trek
On Saturday 20th September a group ran/walked/crawled up Snowdon, the aim to
raise funds for the trust.
The weather was very kind, at first fog hung around but quickly disappeared to
reveal the Sun.
We were a mixed group of abilities all there for a good cause.
For the this event we were proud to be flying the new flags which we were
specially made by Andy and his team at Flying Colours of Knaresborough in North
Yorkshire, who also make flags, etc for the Queen. A big thank you to Andy for
the extra effort getting them to us in time. ( See the link to their site in our
Links section)
A big thank you to Gary, Mark, Gary, Derek and Neil from gap personnel Wrexham,
Louise and Jody, Jayne, Max, Lisa,Josh, Claire and Ian who completed the walk.
Thank you to Paul from gap personnel in Bangor, Gary and Matt who made sure that
we set off and that I did not backtrack!
The amount raised is £800!!!!!
Love and best wishes to you all,
Jane Bignall
